How the App Talent Data Was Collected
For most companies, employee headcount figures are based on LinkedIn data filtered for employees located in EMEA. The data was collected in August 2026.
For companies with more than 1,000 LinkedIn employees in EMEA, we cross-checked the figures against recent annual reports, company websites and reliable news sources published in 2025 or later, where these were available.
Where LinkedIn's global employee count was within 20% of a publicly reported global figure, we used the LinkedIn EMEA employee count. Where the difference exceeded 20%, we reviewed the discrepancy individually.
Why Employee Figures Can Differ
Differences between LinkedIn and publicly reported employee figures can arise for several reasons. These include contractors, drivers, self-employed workers and agency employees identifying the company as their employer, outdated LinkedIn profiles, or employees of acquired businesses continuing to list a local brand rather than its parent company.
LinkedIn may also underrepresent operational and customer service employees, particularly in businesses with a large frontline workforce.
Estimating EMEA Employee Headcount
Where a public global employee figure appeared more reliable, we used it as the primary global headcount. We then calculated the estimated proportion of the company's workforce located in EMEA using LinkedIn data and applied that percentage to the public global figure.
Employee Growth and Attrition
Annual employee growth and attrition figures are based on LinkedIn data filtered for employees located in EMEA.
