Career History

Ardoq is a Norwegian company whose cloud-native SaaS platform helps organisations plan and manage enterprise architecture, giving them a detailed view of projects, responsibilities and timelines across the business.

Øystein Ellingbø, now Chief Technology Officer since August 2023, has been a pivotal figure at Ardoq for a decade. He joined when the company was only a handful of people and revenue was a mere $100k. He is currently responsible for the strategic direction and execution across the engineering team. Under his leadership, Ardoq's platform has developed to be a world leader in Enterprise Architecture and the main driver of AI innovation in their space. His contributions also include ensuring world-class availability and hosting efficiency. These achievements solidify his reputation as a trailblazer within the EMEA CTO B2B SaaS community. Prior to his current role, Øystein served six years as Vice President of Engineering, having initially joined the company as a Lead Front-end Developer.

Before Ardoq, Ellingbø built a decade of experience as a consultant with firms such as BEKK and Miles, advising clients on software development and architecture. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), awarded in 2006.
