These are some of the recent candidate moves in the internet and technology industries:

Meri Williams joins Healx – an AI-powered biotech company – from challenger bank Monzo, as Chief Technology Officer. Prior to Monzo, Meri led technology teams at online print and design company MOO, Marks and Spencer, and the Government Digital Service.

Travel company Secret Escapes has promoted Jean-Charles Lacoste to the role of Chief Operating Officer. He previously served as Managing Director UK.

Price comparison company GoCo Group has appointed Alan Burns as its new Chief Financial Officer. Alan is the former CFO at Spotahome.

Digital media business iTech Media has appointed Jarrad Kabral as its new Global Head of Engineering. Jarrad previously served as Head of Engineering at Zoopla.

Venture capital firm Octopus Ventures has hired Conor Scanlan as new Investor. Conor is a former Principal at Frog Capital.

Online gift shop Papier has appointed Neil Roberts as its new Chief Product Officer. Neil is the former Director of Product at MOO.

Preply – a language learning marketplace, has appointed Filippo Gallignani as its new Chief Marketing Officer. He previously served as VP Performance Marketing at Delivery Hero.

Financial market data provider Refinitiv has appointed Gavin Edwards as new Global Head of Product Design. Gavin is the former Head of Design at Careem.

Credit control automation software company Chaser has appointed Mark Robertson as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Mark previously served as Head of Sales at Veeqo.

Manish Gajria has been appointed as Chief Product Officer at online childcare provider Koru Kids. Manish is the former VP Product at Kobalt.

Data science marketplace Pivigo has hired Alex Willard as its new CEO. She is the former CEO of Tantalum Corporation.

Riccardo Zacconi has stepped down as Co-Founder and Chairman of King. He is currently Co-Founder at Sweet Capital – an early stage investment fund.

Jim Veevaert has been appointed as VP Product at e-learning Memrise. He is the former VP Product at ROLI.

Open source software provider Red Hat has promoted Paul Cormier to the role of CEO. He previously served as EVP Engineering, Products and Technologies.

Security software provider F-Secure has appointed Juhani Hintikka as its new President and CEO. Juhani is the former CEO of telecoms software business Comptel.

CloudSense – a commerce and subscriber management platform, has appointed Jonathan English, as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at ION Commodities.

Financial management software company Sapphire Systems has appointed Trevor Rolls as its new Chairman. Trevor also holds Chairman positions at companies such as Cybercrowd and Makutu.io.

Online gambling firm 888 Holdings has named Jonathan Mendelsohn as its next Chairman. He previously co-founded Oakvale Capital – an M&A and strategic advisory boutique. Jonathan is well regarded for his lobbying experience.

Portfolio management software provider Sharktower AI has appointed former FanDuel executive Brendan Waters as its Chief Financial Officer.

Personio, a provider of an all-in-one HR software solution, has appointed Birgit Haderer as Chief Financial Officer. Birgit is the former Zalando SVP Finance and a former Goldman Sachs VP.

ERP SaaS business FinancialForce has appointed Michael Ni as Chief Marketing Officer. Michael previously served as CMO at RichRelevance.

Gaming platform Roblox has hired Barbara Messing, Walmart’s former Chief Marketing Officer, as its first-ever CMO.

Former Studio Director Christian Reshöft joins InnoGames’ management team as new Chief Product Officer. Reshöft joined InnoGames as Head of Product Management in 2013 when the company’s global hit Forge of Empires was only available on browser.
