DANIEL NATHAN
Career History
Daniel Nathan co-founded Homa in Paris in 2018 with Olivier Le Bas and serves as Chief Executive Officer. Homa focuses on developing and publishing hyper-casual, idle and hybrid-casual titles, alongside a data-driven toolset for creators through Homa Lab. Under Nathan’s leadership the company has scaled its publishing pipeline and platform capabilities, positioning Homa as a prominent European player in mobile gaming.
Since 2023, Homa’s catalogue has passed 2bn downloads and the company reports around 150m monthly active users. Flagship titles include Merge Master and Attack Hole, the latter surpassing 90m downloads in 2024. Homa has also broadened beyond mobile with Nintendo Switch releases for several games, reflecting a push into cross-platform distribution. A $100m Series B in 2022 supported expansion of Homa Lab, hiring and partnerships.
Before Homa, Nathan founded mobile advertising businesses DataLift and BidMotion, experience that informs Homa’s user acquisition and monetisation approach. He is a graduate of NEOMA Business School.
About Homa Games
Homa is a gaming technology lab and publisher that combines internal development with a platform for partner studios. Its toolchain, Homa Lab, provides market testing, analytics, optimisation and live-ops support to help teams ship and scale games across hyper-casual, idle and hybrid-casual genres. The portfolio spans 80+ titles, including hits such as Merge Master and Attack Hole, with recent activity extending selected games to Nintendo Switch.
Financials are privately held. The company raised $100m in a 2022 Series B led by Quadrille Capital and Headline, bringing disclosed funding to roughly $165m. Third-party tracking suggests portfolio lifetime IAP of about $35m, which excludes advertising revenue, a key component for hyper-casual publishers. Given Homa has around 750 employees, overall revenues are likely in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
