KEN GO
Career History
Ken Go is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DECA Games, a Berlin-based publisher and live operations specialist established in 2016. He built the company around a clear mission: acquiring and revitalising established free-to-play games through expert community management, data-driven monetisation and continuous live content. This strategy has positioned DECA as a trusted partner for developers seeking to extend the lifespan and profitability of their titles.
Before founding DECA, Go spent several years at Kabam, where he served as Executive Producer for Kingdoms of Camelot and later as General Manager for Europe, helping to scale one of the earliest successful mid-core free-to-play franchises. Earlier in his career, he held production and management roles at Electronic Arts and Playdom, developing a broad understanding of both AAA and social mobile ecosystems.
Go holds a bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University.
About DECA Games
DECA Games is a Berlin-based publisher and live-ops specialist focused on acquiring and operating mature free-to-play titles. Rather than developing new IP, the company breathes new life into existing games through robust live operations, community engagement and continuous optimisation. Its portfolio includes DragonVale (acquired from Backflip Studios in 2020) as well as legacy titles originally developed by GREE such as Knights and Dragons, Crime City and Modern War. DECA also operates the cult MMO Realm of the Mad God.
DragonVale has recorded over 45m downloads and generated more than $200m in lifetime revenue under DECA’s stewardship. DECA’s expertise in live operations has enabled steady revenue growth in its catalogue; for example, its mobile game Gods and Glory achieved an 80 % revenue uplift in alternative app stores following a strategic publishing push.
