Career History
Voodoo is a Paris-based mobile games and consumer apps company recognised as one of the pioneers of the hyper-casual genre. Alexandre Yazdi co-founded the business in 2013 with Laurent Ritter and has served as Chief Executive Officer since its creation. Under his leadership, Voodoo has grown from a small indie studio into one of the most downloaded publishers globally, with more than 8bn lifetime downloads and around 150m monthly active users across its portfolio.
Yazdi has overseen rapid international expansion, building a team of over 800 people across 14 countries. He has also led the company through several major funding rounds, including investments from Goldman Sachs, Tencent and Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, which have valued Voodoo at over $2bn. More recently, he has driven diversification into casual and hybrid-casual games and consumer apps, establishing Voodoo as a broader digital entertainment group.
