About Us

Peter Franks has spent the last twenty years specializing in recruiting leaders for software, games, internet and broader technology companies. He has deep experience of working with venture capital and private equity backed businesses.

After graduating from university in 2004, he spent the first twelve years of his career working for technology-sector specialist executive search firms before founding Neon River.

His clients typically range from PE backed companies with hundreds of millions or billions of dollars of revenues to earlier stage VC backed companies who are just starting their journey. Peter works with both B2B and B2C technology companies and hires leaders across all functions.

He holds an BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University and is fortunate (unlucky) enough to be a fan of Crystal Palace FC.

Yui Tachibana works closely with Peter Franks and provides our clients with expert market research that underpins all our recruitment processes leveraging her deep understanding of the software, games and broader technology industries.

Before joining Neon River, Yui worked for an international market research firm specializing in employee engagement and retention. With an earlier background in management consulting with EY, Yui has deep experience in strategically advising companies in how to effectively develop and engage their employees.

Yui holds a MSc in Democracy and Comparative Politics from University College London and a BA in Law from Keio University.
