Career History
Akin Babayigit is one of mobile gaming’s most active investors, with a track record of backing some of the fastest growing games companies from an early stage. He was the first investor in Dream Games, now valued at around $5bn, and also backed Loom Games before it became a unicorn and was acquired by Scopely. His other investments include Good Job Games, Spyke Games and Flow Games, alongside a growing portfolio of AI companies including Higgsfield AI.
In 2025, he founded Arcadia Gaming Partners, through which he continues to back early stage mobile games and AI businesses with global ambitions. He also co-founded Luna Labs, a playable ads platform, which was acquired by ironSource in 2021 just a few years after its launch.
Before founding Arcadia, Babayigit was co-founder and President of Tripledot Studios, where he helped grow the company from a start-up into one of the United Kingdom’s most successful mobile gaming businesses. During his tenure, Tripledot launched hit puzzle titles including Woodoku and Solitaire.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Facebook and Skype, gaining deep expertise in product development and corporate strategy. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Engineering from Yale University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
