Career History
Alexandre Pelletier-Normand became Chief Executive Officer of Rovio Entertainment Corporation in January 2021, having previously served as Executive Vice President, Games. Before Rovio, Pelletier-Normand spent many years at Gameloft, rising to EVP of Production. He is also a co-founder and board member of investment platform Execution Labs.
Under his leadership, Rovio has continued to develop and operate the Angry Birds franchise while becoming increasingly integrated with SEGA following its acquisition in 2023. Pelletier-Normand has overseen Rovio’s mobile portfolio, alongside the expansion of the franchise through licensing and entertainment.
In July 2026, Pelletier-Normand was appointed COO of West Studios at SEGA Europe while continuing as CEO of Rovio. The expanded role gives him responsibility across SEGA’s Western studio operations, bringing his experience in mobile games and live services into the wider group.
Pelletier-Normand holds a BSc in Computer Science from Université de Sherbrooke.
