About Nscale
Founded in 2024 by Josh Payne and headquartered in London, Nscale is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company providing the computing capacity, data centres and cloud software required to train, deploy and run large-scale AI models. Its platform spans GPU infrastructure, AI cloud services, data-centre development and energy, positioning the company as an AI-focused alternative to traditional hyperscale cloud providers.
The company has expanded rapidly through major infrastructure agreements with some of the world’s largest technology companies. In October 2025, Nscale signed a major agreement with Microsoft to deploy NVIDIA AI hardware across multiple data centres.
Nscale raised $2bn in Series C funding in March 2026 at a valuation of $14.6bn, following a $1.1bn Series B in September 2025. Its investors include Aker, 8090 Industries, NVIDIA, Dell, Nokia, Lenovo and Point72. In July 2026, the company agreed to acquire AI software company Anyscale, adding its software platform and approximately 200 employees as Nscale expands from infrastructure into a broader full-stack AI cloud offering.
