About Revolut
Revolut is a global financial technology company offering consumer and business financial services through a single digital platform. Its products span current accounts, payments, foreign exchange, savings, investments, credit and business banking. Founded in London in 2015 by Nik Storonsky and Vlad Yatsenko, the company has grown to more than 75 million retail customers worldwide and operates across more than 40 countries.
Revolut generated $6bn in revenue in 2025, up 46% year-on-year, while profit before tax reached $2.3bn. In November 2025, the company completed a share sale establishing a $75bn valuation. A further secondary share sale began in July 2026 at a proposed $115bn valuation, although this represents a transaction between existing shareholders and investors rather than a new funding round for the company.
Revolut has also accelerated its transition into a fully regulated global bank, securing a full UK banking licence in 2026 alongside new banking licences in France and Australia, while applying for a US bank charter.
