Career History

Christina Scott is Chief Product and Technology Officer of RWS Group, the UK-based language technology company providing software and AI-enabled solutions for translation, localisation and content management. She joined the business in May 2025, bringing extensive experience leading product, technology and digital transformation across media, energy and professional services businesses.

Before joining RWS, Scott was Chief Product and Technology Officer at OVO, where she led product and technology across the energy company’s consumer platform. Prior to this, she spent almost six years as Chief Technology Officer of News UK, overseeing technology across titles including The Times, The Sunday Times and The Sun.

Earlier in her career, Scott was Chief Product and Information Officer at the Financial Times and held senior technology roles at Pearson, BT and the BBC. She began her career at Accenture before moving into software development leadership roles. Alongside her executive roles, she is also a Non-Executive Director of Which?.

Scott holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University and an MSc in Management and Organisational Analysis from Birkbeck, University of London.
